Treeton Youth Club

Treeton Parish Council is proud to support the Treeton Youth Club, delivered in partnership with SJD Sports Coaching. This long-standing partnership has been running for over a decade, providing a safe, fun, and welcoming space for young people in the village to meet friends and take part in a wide range of activities.

Supporting opportunities for young people is an important priority for the Parish Council. By funding and subsidising the Youth Club, the Council aims to ensure that children in Treeton have access to affordable activities, social opportunities, and positive experiences close to home.

SJD Sports Coaching is a locally based community organisation with a team of qualified sports coaches and instructors, delivering activities across Treeton and surrounding communities. Their experience working with schools, sports clubs, and youth groups helps create a friendly and inclusive environment where children can have fun, build confidence, and stay active.

Activities

The Youth Club offers a mix of sporting and creative activities, including:

• Dodgeball
• Table tennis
• Football
• Basketball
• Baking and cooking activities
• Drawing, colouring and creative crafts
• Building challenges and games
• Quizzes and group activities

Throughout the year the club also hosts special themed events, including movie nights, discos, and seasonal celebrations such as Christmas and Easter.

The club has a welcoming, traditional youth club feel, with a tuck shop available and hot food and drinks served during sessions.
