Treeton Village Community & Resource Centre
The Treeton Village Community & Resource Centre is an important hub for community life in the village, hosting a wide range of activities, events, and services for residents of all ages.
The centre was built in 2004 and opened in 2005, thanks to funding from the National Lottery, local funding sources, and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust. Unfortunately, the centre fell on difficult times in 2010, which eventually led to its closure.
Through the dedication of local volunteers and community fundraising, including car boot sales and table-top sales, enough funding was raised to allow the centre to reopen on 28th March 2015. Since then, the centre has remained well used and continues to serve the local community.
Today, the centre operates as an independent charitable organisation supporting community needs. All proceeds generated through activities and events are reinvested back into the centre to help cover the upkeep of the building, energy costs, and essential services.
Please note: The Community & Resource Centre is independently managed and is not owned or operated by Treeton Parish Council.
